This painting as seen from my living-room window
I found to be very striking with the contrasts of the color of the
Cardinals , against the white and blue world of the north where
we live.. The bay and the first Narrows on Mirond in the background .
We always enjoy a visit by these colorful birds, and the many others that
come to feed at our feeders. The Northern
Cardinals
Where do all the Cardinals go?
When the temperatures dip well below,
And their world is covered with a dust of snow.
Where do all the Cardinals go?
To the feeder and window below,
They'll feast on the seeds, nutrition they seek,
To quench the hunger, while I peek
In wonder at the marvelous show,
Colors orange and red all aglow.
That's where the Northern Cardinals go!
