This painting was entered in the Saskatchewan Wildlife Art
Show, Reflections of Nature, in April 2001 where it received a red ribbon.
This scene is one of peace and reverence of nature. The rather violent
thunderstorm is approaching , while the eagle is resting . It is common
for eagles to fly above the storm. This one knows the storm will
pass by without the need to get out of the way. Thunder storms
are common in the summer, and often add to the beauty of the shield area.
Bald Eagles such as this pair on Mirond Lake are also part of the beauty
of the north. |
